WINDOWS LOOKS BETTER
Its usual..Most of us want to look good. We buy new clothes, new shoes and accesories for looking better. Same goes with Windows, its naked-skin when you see the freshly installed Windows, the themes provided with Windows XP are fresh but they aren't just enough. In this text, I'll talk about making Windows look better.
There are alot of applications on the Internet which customize our Windows Desktop and make it look better. But the most widely used are: 1)Stardock Wincustomize 2)Style XP.
Style XP doesnt give the options to configure it the way the Stardock utilities do. So, Ill brag about the Stardock, and how it has made my Windows a pleasure to work on.
The Stardock features many different programs in it of which I would like to emphazise only a few which i feel are the only ones needed:-
1. WindowsBlinds(MOST MOST Important)
2. CursorXP(Does What it says)
3. IconPackager(Does What it says)
4. DesktopX(00PMH, is what this baby gives to your Windows)
((NOTE:-None of the programs above are free. There stripped down version is but the full function version needs to be bought. But do we like to buy??))
1. Windows Blinds changes the complete look of our OS. It gives a fresh new look at every aspect of Windows. Different skins for it and to change the look of our pc. The taskbar, the menu bars, each and every aspect is taken care off. Its a must-have.
2. Cursor XP, does what it says. Windows XP Base doesnt have many cursors, just the plain old thing. So if you wanna use different styles, this is what you use.
3. Iconpackager changes the Icons of your Files, Folders, Games. Everything that has an icon is changed and made to look better. Again the icon files can be downloaded.
4. DESKTOPX, this tool changes the outlook of your desktop. It has many, many different styles which change the way you look at your computer. Its very neat and easy to use.
